Yasmin Abusaif serves as counsel in the Brennan Center’s Elections and Government Program, where she focuses on issues related to election administration, election security, and election disinformation.

Before joining the center, she worked as an associate in the Philadelphia office of Dechert LLP.

Abusaif received her BA in government from the College of William & Mary and earned her JD from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she specialized in critical race studies and public interest law and policy. She interned at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and served as a judicial extern for Judge Cynthia Rufe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
