Arlyss Herzig is a research associate in the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program, where she focuses on voting rights and representation. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Herzig interned at the American Civil Liberties Union on the data analytics redistricting team, at Legal Services Corporation in the Office of Data Governance and Analysis, and at Massachusetts Voter Table, spearheading their redistricting effort. She also worked as a data analyst at the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund for over two years, where she analyzed and created redistricting plans for the 2020 redistricting cycle.
Herzig graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a BA in international relations and science, technology, and society; a certificate in spatial data analytics; and an MS in data analytics.
