Catherine Silvestri is a program associate in the Democracy Program, focusing on Voting Rights and Elections Team. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Catherine worked as field organizer in Arizona on Sen. Mark Kelly’s 2022 campaign. She coordinated volunteer efforts to promote voter engagement across the state. She’s interned at an education policy non-profit, the Ability Challenge, and the League of Women Voters national headquarters in Washington DC.
Catherine graduated from Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences in 2022, receiving a BA in Government, and a minor in Education. While at Cornell, she focused her courses on US socio-political issues and co-founded a campus-wide voter registration and turnout initiative.
