Izabela Tringali was a research and program associate in the Democracy Program, where she focused on voting rights and elections. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Tringali interned in the Office of Sen. Sherrod Brown and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, as well as with the Brennan Center. Tringali graduated summa cum laude from New York University in 2020 with a B.A. in Politics and Gender and Sexuality Studies. She was awarded the Gender and Sexuality Studies Academic Achievement Award. While at New York University, Tringali worked for three years in the Provost’s Global Research Initiatives department. For her senior thesis, Tringali researched the social and legal implications that the undue burden standard poses in American abortion law.
