Jiyoon Park is a Program Associate in the Elections & Government Program, where she focuses on election security and disinformation. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Jiyoon worked as a litigation paralegal at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where she supported the commercial litigation, capital markets, bankruptcy and restructuring, and pro-bono practice areas. Jiyoon graduated from Wesleyan University in 2021 with a BA in Government and East Asian Studies with a certificate in International Relations. For her undergraduate capstone project, Jiyoon examined the historical foundations of gender inequality in South Korea’s labor market and the consequential impacts of these disparities.
