Rebecca Ayala was a Research and Program Associate, where she focused on voting rights and elections. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Rebecca interned at Hadsell, Stormer Richardson & Renick, LLP, the Kamala Harris for US Senate campaign, EMILY’s List, and the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California. Rebecca earned her undergraduate degree in Government and History from Claremont McKenna College in 2018. While at Claremont McKenna, Rebecca worked at the Office of Admission and Alumni and Parent Relations Office. During her senior year, she received the award for Best Gender Studies Thesis for her work examining Chicana feminist organizing during the 1970s.
