Melanie Geller is the special assistant to the director of the Brennan Center's Liberty and National Security Program, providing research, scheduling, and administrative support. Before joining the Brennan Center, she worked in public relations at a strategic communications firm, where she advanced and conveyed the work of her nonprofit clients in local and national media. During the 2020 election cycle, Geller interned for the Partnership for Public Service’s Center for Presidential Transition. She graduated summa cum laude from Hamilton College with a BA in government and minors in philosophy and classical studies.
