Jess Lam is the managing director of the Communications and Strategy Department at the Brennan Center, where she facilitates ongoing projects and the administration of external communications. Most recently, she served as an officer of strategic initiatives and operations at the International Rescue Committee, coordinating the organization’s efforts to improve fundraising processes that sponsor life-saving programs for refugees around the world. Prior to that, Lam helped establish the game design BA and MA programs at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts as administrative director and continues to be an avid advocate for games in culture.
Lam holds a BA in literature and an MA in education administration from New York University.
