Duncan Hosie
Steven M. Polan Fellow in Constitutional Law and History
Duncan Hosie is a writer and legal scholar whose work explores the intersection of constitutional jurisprudence and political mobilization. He previously worked as a Liman Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union’s Ruth Bader Ginsburg Liberty Center, a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and an associate in the Supreme Court and appellate practice of a major law firm. His articles on the Supreme Court and constitutional law have been published in law journals and publications including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Review of Books, and the Los Angeles Times. A Marshall scholar, he has degrees from Princeton University, the London School of Economics, Oxford University, and Yale Law School.
