Amanda Bart serves as Executive Assistant to Michael Waldman, the Brennan Center’s President and CEO. Amanda was previously an Associate Director of Operations for Correctional Health Services at Rikers Island and the Administrative Director of the Bellevue Juvenile Justice Mental Health Service program. She is a longtime partner of the Women’s Prison Association, which empowers women to redefine their lives in the face of injustice and incarceration, and currently sits on their Board of Directors.
Amanda received an MA in Forensic Psychology at CUNY’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a BA in Psychology with a minor in Crime and Justice from University of Michigan.
