Abdiaziz Ahmed is a technology policy strategist in the Brennan Center’s Elections and Government Program, where he focuses on artificial intelligence safety, election security, and the impact of emerging technologies on public policy. His work includes addressing election disinformation, algorithmic risks, and the governance of AI systems.
Previously, he was a policy counsel at Amazon, serving as a subject matter expert on state-restricted products and content moderation policy. Ahmed earned a bachelor’s degree in literature from Carleton University and a law degree from the University of Toronto.
