On November 5, 2024, Kentucky will hold a general election for the 5th District position on the Kentucky Supreme Court. The candidates are competing to fill the seat currently held by Justice Laurance VanMeter, whose term expires on January 5, 2025. The May 21, 2024 primary election was canceled, with Pamela R. Goodwine and Erin Izzo advancing to the November 5, 2024 general election. 

In the general election, Pamela R. Goodwine defeated Erin Izzo.
