Kevin Morris
Kevin Morris is a senior research fellow and voting policy scholar with the Brennan Center's Democracy Program, specializing in voting rights and elections. His research focuses on how restrictive voting laws limit access to the polls, how election administration influences turnout, and how the criminal legal system impacts American democracy.
Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Morris worked as an economic researcher associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and an economist at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. His academic work has been published in leading journals including the American Political Science Review and the Journal of Politics.
He has a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College, a master's degree in urban planning from NYU Wagner, and a doctorate in sociology from the CUNY Graduate Center.
